New Day Treatment Program
Veterans in Virginia experiencing alcohol and substance use disorders now have new opportunities to overcome these life-altering challenges.
Safe Harbor Recovery Center’s new Day Treatment or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is now accepting participants. Veterans in the Commonwealth can take advantage of whole person wellness, group and individual therapy, yoga, 12-Step meetings, nutrition and medication education, medication management, and other services developed to cater to specific individual needs. Services will be provided by Safe Harbor’s physician, nurses, and licensed professional counselors. The new program is located at 3516 Queen Street near Portsmouth’s Maryview Hospital and provides services for up to 30 participants.
The PHP is operated by Safe Harbor Recovery Center, a JCAHO-accredited, professionally-staffed substance use disorder treatment center.
